Our inventor, Dr. Jeffery H. Ahlin has over twenty-five years experience treating patients with temporomandibular joint disorders (TMJ). He has been a clinical Instructor at the Department of Oral Diagnosis & Radiology, Harvard University School of Dental Medicine and is currently in private practice in the Boston, Massachusetts area.
Dr. Ahlin is one of the principle authors of the book, Maxillofacial Orthopedics: A Clinical Approach for the Growing Child, Quintessence Publishing Co., Inc. 1984. This text integrates related investigations from the literature, clinical research by the authors, and case histories into an in-depth readable guide to specific problems and solutions of malocclusion. More recently Dr. Ahlin has published articles in the Journal of the American Orthodontic Society.
A board certfied orthodontist and pediatric dentist, Dr. Ahlin is also a member of American Board of Pediatric Dentists and the North East regional Dental Boards. His affiliations with other professional organizations include membership in the American Dental Association, American Society of Dentistry for Children, American Academy of Gnathologic Orthopedics, International Association of Orthodontics and Federation Dentaire International.
